Re-elect jason woodbury
Carson city district attorney
Four years ago, my family and I began my first campaign for public office. At the end of that campaign, Carson City’s voters hired me, allowing me the privilege of serving as this community’s thirtieth elected District Attorney. Like I promised you, I have worked hard to create an office that provides high quality, ethical legal service to our community. We’ve accomplished a lot in all three of our divisions, criminal, juvenile, and civil, and I look forward to campaigning for re-election on that record of success. Our efforts are paying off. The Nevada Appeal recently reported an 8% reduction in the crime rate this year, including a 28% reduction in serious crime.
My campaign for re-election won’t just look back, it will look forward, too. I’m excited to share my plans on how we can build on the foundation of the last three years, and serve Carson City even better. But I will be listening far more than talking. This campaign is my opportunity to hear directly from my bosses about where we are succeeding, and, more importantly, where we can improve.
My wife and I cherish this community that has been so good to us and our children. Being your District Attorney is a labor of love, and I hope you decide to keep me on to work at my dream job for another four years.
